Never light , eastern half of the country . Half time in the mountains . 2011 freightliner , DD15 , 10 sp, 3.42 rears , (lite foot) . That week was mostly flat ground, that said, know some pickup owners that would like to see 10+ MPG !

well guys this was my first week with the new 3.36's..i run 80.000 all week...detroit 60 575 with 1850lbs of torque with one of those 9 speed converted to 13 speed and 3.36's.....and i did worse in fuel...1450 at 68 i did 5.3...i dont know what to do anymore

Did you have the new rear end ratio updated in the ECM? If not then your mileage is not going to be accurate and will obviously throw off what you THINK you are getting for fuel mileage.

ECM reported fuel avg cannot be trusted. Are you using Fuelgauges to track your mileage or manually?

My '88 Pete' was a road tractor, the rearends don't lock like a dump truck should, anybody know the ideal Eaton, rearends, I'd want, I got the Hendrickson spring alreadt, tomorrow they'll install a 20K ridgid dually pusher. Anyonr have any suggestions or parts?
