Mega Trux owed me 28,875$....never pay a dime...now I have to pay back my factori Co.

i used to be a dispatcher for Megatrux. a few years ago. and honestly, it was the best company i could have worked for. until they decided to move to Rancho Cucamonga. everything was so good at City Of Industry. the atmosphere there was so great. things were good also at Rancho at first. but then something happened. and I think that's when everything started to go down hill from that.

 

I wondering how good a dispatcher you were since your response is to a four year old post,

 

Isn't it the Factoring Company's problem to get the money? You pay them for something right?

 

All depends on what the contract said, and most people don’t bother reading them, just sign and ##### on the internet later if something bad happens.

 

What happened at Rancho?
Sex?
Drugs?
SLUTS?
Gambling?
Laker games?
Money squandered on all the above, instead of paying the bills????
Up my nose, that's where my freight company goes????

I just did a Google search on their brokerage company. There must be 40 different lawsuits against them and by some big carriers like FedEx and UPS. They ripped off everybody. Funny that their trucking end is still in business under the same name.

 

Depends on if it's a non-recourse or recourse contract. The former leaves you free and clear regardless of whether the invoice is paid or not and the latter you pay if the customer doesn't after a predefined period of time. So many brokers do their own Quick Pay options now I don't see the point in factoring anymore unless it's for a direct customer.
