I ended up getting a full 10 hour break in at Tyson and ended up pushing to Oak Grove, KY this afternoon. Unfortunately I coukdnt sleep at all at Tyson and ended up pulling into Kingdom City for a catnap and then pressed onward. About an hour out from Oak Grove I got a call saying they were swapping me. I said no way, and yes it was really tight, but I would still make on time delivery. She insisted and I finally said that the only way I was losing this load was if someone broke into my truck and pried the bills ouf of my cold dead hands. The earth would have to split open an swallow my truck or some other act of God would be then only things preventing me from finaling this. Three easy stops, going by the house in a 2014 trailer? Pfffft, Imma deliver it or die trying! Ive got my Screaming Meanie set to wake the dead volume much earlier than I would normally get up. I will be at the entrance of the truck stop ready to pretrip and haul butt the second my clock turns green.

 

Happy Easter to all yall. Iv sepnt my day at the petro in little rock. And now spending the night. They can fix trailer in morning company wanted me to drive with abs light on and the shop said abs not working. I refused to drive like that and now it will be fixed in the morning. Not sure I did right thing or not, but if anything would have happened they would have said I drove the truck unsafe. And the scales are on the left in Mississippi and I may get ticket and points no thanx. Hope everyone had a good day.

Disconnecting the wire to the light works for sliding through scales without getting flagged. Honestly, there ate more trailers with ABS issues than without I think. Theyll always tell you to just pull it with the ABS light. That Petro is the slowest shop around to try and get repairs done in too. Plus with today being Easter, evrry single scale I passed was closed.
