So what is Knight saying? That they can't ping the truck and your #### out of luck? That would be a really crappy day to come back to the spot you left your truck and it's gone... Feel for ya man.

Is that area known for truck thefts?

Holiday weekend in SoCal = stolen I bet. That is such a bummer. Hope you get it back. Knight seems to be less than helpful in these situations. Thank goodness you didn't have a trailer or they'd be looking to crucify you. Just curious, why not park at the Fontana yard? I know it's a ways from Moreno Valley but much safer, from theft anyway.

Isn't knight still using the code system on their trucks, I had a newer truck pro star when I was there but you had to put a code in and have it accept the code before one could even start the truck.

or, it had a code but you left the code in the truck where someone could find it?

i called the police department, and asked about towing companys in the area, they said that when a company tows a vehicle, they have to put it in the system, its not in there

so the vehicle is still listed as stolen

Who ever took it knew what they were doing. Possibly someone with access to a heavy duty tow truck and did a snatch n go?

I had a truck stolen once, they probably grabbed it to use it to steal a trailer, then ditched it in someone else's unlocked yard between a bunch of other trucks. Eventually someone will say "why is that ####### parked in our yard for so long" and will call the number on the side. Hopefully they didn't leave the window open. Or maybe terrorists took it as our local PD so unhelpfully suggested...

I think the truck is being used to tow Malaysian Flight 370.
