Man that sucks. That makes for a baaaad day.
Stinky Dairy Air and paul_4lp Thank this. -
Can't even beat a slow train....luckily he will live to drive again....
Stinky Dairy Air Thanks this. -
So lucky. Did he not see it coming, looks like there are only lights there and no guardarms. Indiana used to be bad about having RR# with nothing more than a posted sign.
Stinky Dairy Air Thanks this. -
You're right, he's lucky to drive another day but it won't be for US Express. He so lucky to be alive.
NavigatorWife, 48Packard and flood Thank this. -
Someone will probably still hire him, which is crazy. Hes just lucky he's not hurt or worse.
Stinky Dairy Air Thanks this. -
That's a Century class....owner-op? Sure not gonna help his bottom line....
Stinky Dairy Air Thanks this. -
Interestingly enough, he was traveling West on Oak Street. Oak Street west of that crossing is restricted to 102" wide trailers longer than 28 1/2 feet. And there's a big sign just before the tracks that points this out.

:smt119 If you can't see a freight train how does he see kids on sidewalks and commuters on bicycles? get him off the road before he kills someone.
Stinky Dairy Air and SHO-TYME Thank this.
