I found a HOW ad on the OKC Craigslist this morning and came here to read up. I'm looking for a new gig where I can bring my wife and her caged Ferret. We are going to be empty-nesters and living the full-time OTR life. Are all the trucks Cascadias now?
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

From what I've heard, they are transitioning to all Cascadia Evolution condos. They have just bought a bunch of them recently. This coming from a current driver I know who just got one recently and my former dispatcher there. You could call recruiting just to make sure.

Thanks. I don't see any specific details on the site for pay or bonus numbers. What's the scale for experienced drivers? What do they charge for rider/pet? I was surprised to see an ad in OKC since we don't appear to be in their hiring area. Maybe it's the I40 I44 lane? Do you know the cost for insurance? I see a sw region. My Mom lives in Phx. Is that a frequent destination? Thx

Pay for experience started at .33 but you'd start higher since you have more experience and caps at .40 cpm. There's a mileage bonus of .01, .015, or .045. Can't remember the mileage numbers for the smaller ones but the big bonus was 33,501 in the quarter. I hit that every single time and I've heard they've lowered the mileage you need to hit to get these bonuses. Safety bonus is .01 after one year and each consecutive year of safe driving you get that penny plus I wanna $100 each year (1 year=100, 2=200, etc).
I honestly don't know if they'll allow a ferret, and if they do, I have no clue as to the cost. They would take it out in monthly increments.
Insurance for me alone, was about $45/week but I had everything. Medical was something like $33 or something like that. Last I knew it was BCBS.
We have a lot of freight in the southwest. Did a lot of work around the Bellemont/Flagstaff area while I was there. Went to Phoenix a few times, but I didn't care for those runs. In your case it would work out.
Fresh out of grad school, I grossed $55k on roughly 144,000 miles. It was on paper and I had a great dispatcher. I also bust my butt while I'm out. -
what's starting pay for a student grad?

I'm pretty sure any company that says: Our drivers avg $78k a year MEANT to say "topped out at" $78k. They also failed to mention that top earner was actually a team truck or a VERY busy homeless trainer.

Just letting people know. Just spoke to Ann and they are not hiring in FLA if anyone was wondering

I've been wondering. Could my Girlfriend come on rides with me or does it have to be my spouse?

Anyone 13 and over with permission from the safety department, unless it has changed since I've been there.
