My daddy always told me; " if you want to keep your money in your pocket, keep your pecker in your pants "

The title to your thread is ".... Keep child support low." You are willing to die for them, as long as it doesn't cost you much to do it.joseph1135 and Steeleandsonfarms Thank this.

You're kind of slow aren't you. Re-read what I wrote and try again. Im guessing you've never been through a divorce and you probably don't have any children. Are you a female?Natethetrucker04 and DrivingForceBehindYou Thank this.

You came to the wrong place to ask how to get out of your responsibilities dude.
Steeleandsonfarms, tow614 and Rooster1291979 Thank this. -
Yes. All females are named Joe. And I have children. And had to pay while I was separated. I had no issues paying. Obviously we worked things out, but never once did I ever try to get out of it or try to "keep it low". You made them. Now take care of them.tow614, double yellow and Steeleandsonfarms Thank this.

Did you not read where he says he takes them out and replaces the torn clothing. BTW what the hell is wrong with holes in clothes? We used to wear through the knees and patch them. My brother would take less than a month to put a hole in a pair of jeans.

My advice would be to talk to a Lawyer on this one. Probably a divorce attorney.
Now as to how to protect things, you may have to set up a full blown C-corp. That makes the company it's own entity. Yeah it may require more taxes being paid but that is only on dividends where you pay corporate taxes and then personal income taxes. The corporation by law is not you. You only own shares in the corporation. You draw a paycheck but the other money is not yours, it belongs to the company. As long as you do not pay out dividends there is no double taxation.
The court should not be able to touch the income of the company. But then I have not stayed at a Holiday Inn lately so contact a lawyer for better advice.
BTW, my ex gets 40% of my income along with the state paying $1600 per month. I would gladly send money and do when they need it but some people can not even afford a place to live after the courts get through. Combine that with irresponsible spending by the receiving spouse (man or woman) and that ticks people off.Natethetrucker04, poppapump1332 and sbryant82585 Thank this. -
You voted for Obama didn't you. Twice I bet. You're all about giving hand outs. If the ##### can't take care of her children then she needs to give them to me because I can. I pay 700 a month for my kids plus I take care of them on the weekends. Until a judge gives you a timeshare to see your own kids and makes you pay someone who doesn't want to do anything for themselves you will never understand. You're talking just to be talking at this point. If you want to keep the conversation going thats fine with me.poppapump1332 Thanks this.
