Keep Ex Wife Out and Child Support Low?

I have been through it to the tune of over $300,000 in child support. You're confusing your understandable anger with her with your obligation to take care of your kids. If she isn't taking at least basic good care of your kids get a better lawdog and get custody. The kids come first; your anger with her and anything else, including your trucking plans come last. We have an enormous capacity to adapt to literally anything. You don't know you can but try it anyway and surprise yourself.

For what its worth I loathe saying what I did above for the simple reason you never should have had to ask what you did. Be a father, Dad. Everything else is easy.

 

advice? Don't procreate with someone with whom you can't cohabitate for the next 18 years.

 

Guess we should have to care of the woman too so she can spend the money on everything but the kid believe me ive been there im all for taking care of my kids but not for some money hungry woman who wants to rake you over the coals and the system allows it some of you are naive

 

I went through all this for 15 years.... best advice i can give is pay it and move on.

In time it will all be over but dont ever let your kids hear you dogging their mother because they will side with her and you will lose them also in the end.

$700 a month, that comes out to $166 a week. That's grocery money. Leave out housing, clothing, heat/AC,electricity, sickness, school supplies, etc. I wish I would have known a couple of kids were only worth $166 a week. Think I'll let her know that we shouldn't be spending all this money!!!

 

Child support is based on your gross and if you become an O/O, they will give you credit only for those things they feel are legitimate business expenses. The best thing to do is to form an LLC and pay yourself weekly.

 

Wow if the female quote wasn't the kicker this one sure makes me mad. You take care of them on the weekends? You take care of them 24-7 you deadbeat looser! $700? for more then one kid? You have to provide them shelter, electricity, healthcare, food, clothing, water, plumbing and education and you get that for the low low cost of only $700 a month and that is too much for you. Even if it's only 50% giving her the other half of the obligation for those things $700 wouldn't pay for two kids share in a rental apartment.

A REAL MAN a REAL father doesn't keep anything to himself but gives his ALL to his children whether married or not married to their mother. ALL of his TIME, AFFECTION, ATTENTION, MONEY, that is what a real Father does. You're a deadbeat who thinks his ex-wife is a Ho and therefore you don't have to bother with the kids you had with her. If she was dead you'd be doing it all and paying it all a lot more then $700. I bet when you were married to her you gave her and your kids more then $700.

Yeah I am a women, and yeah I have been divorced, been the child of divorce, and married to men who had to finacially take care of their children to their first. It sucks and your anger at your wife is putting your kids in the can. Man Up. This isn't an "obama" thing which is even more pathetic blame you having to take care of your kids and be a responsible adult on a President you don't like, real mature... Grow up, pay for your kids, be the better person for their sake if not your own, or all your kids will remember is the fighting and hurt when they grow up and wonder why you couldn't just let it go and make their lives a happy wonderful place with or without being married to their mom.
