I am a lease op though I dont think dedicated would work for me. Unless I am wrong.....

 

Road runner never really knows where their loads are going until the last minute. And I'm shocked costco wouldn't let you pull one out. Then again if you came in with a swift trailer I guess that makes sense.

 

Well they voided my load assignment. So i hope they can give me something with miles on it. I am not going to pull anymore short hauls. I just dont understand why I am getting this dedicated crap put on me lately. As for roadrunner I do not understand why they do not keep track of what truck left with what load. Planner owes me though keeps asking me for help on short hauls and keeps saying he will give me a long load. Watch when i wake up in the morning they will try to stick me with a short haul.

 

I was a lease op also for almost 7 years and made really good money running coors, hell to be frank you will probably fair better as a lease op on a dedicated fleet. I'm not talking about the short haul local crap like buckeye and several others here are on, they won't let you do that as a lease. But Kraft, coors or any of the bigger ded fleets would probably serve you well.

 

It may be that costco was short on trailers too. I've noticed that a lot of our shippers are hurting for trailers lately. Anyone else noticing this?

 

Well they gave me the load for road runner going to wyoming but puled it off of me before i could mac 9 it. I am waiting for them to put something on me. Anyone know what macro to send to change your pta?

They put me back on the roadrunner load that supposed to be going to denver co. Like yesterday the guard at roadrunner says they dont have a load going to denver. Sigh this bites so bad ugh. I cant get anyone central on the phone and they keep asking questions on the qualcomm that they have asked 5 times. I am running out of hair to pull out here.

 

Does anyone ever post in here anymore? Use to see several posts after my days off before Swift took over. Now it has been a week with no posts at all. Hope everyone is well and safe.
