I am wondering if I will have a problem getting a job with 2 accidents. One was 3 years ago I scraped a pole along my car no ticket issued. And about 2 years ago I hit a car coming out of parking lot of gas station no ticket issued
2 accidents

Shouldn't be a problem... just answer all of the questions concerning your background truthfully when you fill out a job app. If they catch you in a lie, you're cooked.
70s_driver and Puppage Thank this. -
Shouldn't have any problem getting a job.
Are you planning on a private CDL school, community college CDL school, or company sponsored CDL school.
Where is your location; city/state? -
I'm currently in the military will have 8 years honorably. I will be going to a private cdl school gi bill will pay for it. Hoping to get in with tmc or Melton some type if flatbed company but those are my top picks.
-
That's 2 good picks.
-
So I shouldn't have a problem with those companies ?
-
Call and ask some questions. Ask about the accidents and also if they hire from the school you plan to attend. Both companies are picky about which CDL school you graduate from.
There's many good flatbed companies if these two don't work out. They are two of the best though. Try those first, and if you have a problem, try these that hire new CDL grads. Ignore "experience required" because they all hire new CDL graduates.

Falcon Transport

PGT Trucking
Watkins & Shepard (flatbed division)
Decker Truck Line
Jordan Carriers
I think you're in the hiring area, Nashville, for all these. There's several others if you live in other states. -
Im positive they take the school I'm attending. Just don't want to have to settle due to the wrecks. I will give them a call.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
If you keep driving anything like that you'll probably have a hard time keeping it. That GI Bill is pretty generous these days, you're only going to be young once.
-
If it was 3 years ago you should be fine...if no tickets its probably not even on your mvr...
Call a company that you not interested in going with and let them run everything so you will know where u stand
