I shut off my truck to drop a trailer inside a dock and then when I went to restart I had no electrical power at all no interior lights no dc outlet power nothing. Everything was fine coming onto the plant no alternator issues of any kind. Checked battery cables and everything seems fine. Any thoughts?

There is no click or anything when you turn the key.

I should say that my inverter does still run that is hooked direct to the batteries.

Check cables on the back of the starter. If those are tight loosen them off and check for corrosion.
I've had it work for me to just loosen them up and retighten again

    Glider then I am guessing?
On some trucks, there is a fuse holder(s) inside the battery box. Find it and check the fuse.
Just an inline fuse holder on FL's, so yours may be the same.

Get a meter or test light, start from main power source...

Most modern trucks have main cab mega fuses. Locate your owners manual. Read it, and see where it is located. It may be popped. Like RSQ20 said, get yourself a test light and start checking for where you have power and where you do not. (DO NOT POKE THROUGH THE INSULATION OF WIRES TO CHECK FOR POWER!!!)
