Hey all! Let's have a little fun with this.
We all see some of the funniest or most ridiculous attempts to park a rig at the truck stops.
Let's share some of the best!
If you have the capability lets post some video action!

I will be sure to have my camera at the ready the next time I see a Roehl truck attempting to back it in, perhaps with a spread axle and loaded heavy while he had thought he will go into a pull through then gets himself into a pickle. I will be sure not to help, but to point and laugh at someone else's (hopefully your) mistake instead.
classic_150 and GA_Rookie Thank this. -
well I guess I should of took video of the Roehl truck in gary in Petro that decided to pull into a spot instead of backing into it then had the guts to wake me up at 3am to ask me to move my truck so he could back out and yes I was perfectly in a parking spot needless to say I do believe he was late on his del. as my 10 was not up until 7am and if your dum enough to put yourself in that situation sorry I,ll move when my break is over

Hey ya'll don't get your panties all bunched up!
This thread is meant to offer up some levity.
Besides, we can all learn from others mistakes.
Perhaps seeing other's making their mistakes will help them to adjust their own attempts and become more successful.
Just a bit over sensitive, don't you think.

Raiderfanatic, gokiddogo, SHO-TYME and 1 other person Thank this. -
The only issue I have is that the way you are wording things comes across as a "super trucker" attitude. If you include yourself in these "mistakes", then all is well.Last edited: Apr 27, 2014
gokiddogo Thanks this. -

After driving for 3 years I try NOT to get into a pickle. I'm starting to drive spread axle trailers because of flatbedding. I learned really fast to stick to the parking spots that all I have to do is pull straight out when I leave. Especially if I have a fixed axle trailer. Until I get past the learning curve. You also have to predict what the parking area is going to be like come five in the morning. That spot that was great 2 o'clock in the afternoon is hell getting out of come early morning because a truck is double parked in your path of travel. It'll be nice if some of these drivers think about the other driver who has to get out of their parking spot when they decide to double park or park in front of you.
bergy Thanks this. -
Wow that took a lot of nerve wake up a driver perfectly parked he should of had a $20 bill in his hand
