Gordon A., great idea to contact McDonalds corporate office ....why didn't we think of that? Sometimes we forget the simplest of solutions because of the internet!
Waynetp, I saw you online earlier but needed to get offline. I hope that everything is going better for you and that each day becomes a little easier. Check in and let us know how you are doing.
Has anyone seen ajacks or gamma online? I don't know exactly where in Arkansas they live.
jaso, where are you? I believe you were headed for Dodge City? I think you and honeybadger were west of the worst weather.

jaso, I wanted to tell you that if you are still planning on turning in your notice you can do it while you are taking home time. When we left TransAm the King was home on vacation time when he accepted the job with his new company. He called and talked with his DM about his 2 week notice and they accepted it even though he was on vacation. When he went back out he did not have to stay out for two full weeks because they counted the last few days of his vacation time towards his notice. He would have stayed and worked a full two weeks if they had required it but they were fine with him turning in his notice while on vacation and counted that time. It may depend on how busy things are whether they have a problem with it or not....or it may depend on your DM, but I think so long as you approach it in a respectful way and that you are trying to leave under good intentions they will work with you.
Storms are firing up again. Back later....jaso36 Thanks this. -
am not feeling the love here
the storms have her off her game -
I am not perfect and I did deliver one load late and had 2 weeks of bad loads after and I kept my mouth shut. in the last month my miles have been poor and I have rescued several loads to try and help. You do not reward help by kicking the ones who tried to help. Conrad explained to me that some drivers do not know how to handle their time and that is the reason for our poor on time record so I guess rewarding them with the good loads is a good business practice. I do not care anyway as I am probably heading somewhere else anyway but before you criticize me what happens to most of the drivers here? What is the success rate here? Why are they collecting(700 minimum leasing @ $3 a week) over $8400 a month for a program that is a one time cost? Why do they charge $0.85 for me to write a check for their business and brokers(the scum of the industry) do not charge this? Why do they charge us for warrenty work when they can charge it to KW or TK? Why does it take so long to get the money back?

In Cheyenne, Wy. across the street cause the interstate was shutdown and I did do my delivery before my contracted time but wow was that an interesting last 10-15 miles as it is snowing and very windy here. I am going to Aurora, Co. tomorrow to pick up and then run to Dodge City to deliver on Tuesday. Hope everyone is safe out there as they shutdown I-80 for weather and a bad accident or at least that is what the DOT guy said before I delivered.
Be safe out there -
HTQ it is good to know you are ok and thank you for your post. I will be in Dodge City Tuesday morning for delivery and hopefully a pick up as well but we will see how they handle me after this weekend. Sorry but I am looking out for me not this company. If that is a bad attitude I guess attitude reflects leadership
Panhandle flash and HometimeQueen Thank this. -

One of the bathrooms in the drivers lounge has a shower too. A washer and a dryer. Really nice facility.
I've been to the Kenworth in Birmingham. Truckworx. I was really impressed by their driver amenities and overall facility. There's at least one other TransAm driver here besides my buddy and I. Possibly two, we saw a fourth trailer dropped here but havent seen the truck.
