I'd have to agree. The man is a schmuck that has not a clue about that of which he speaks, and frankly I don't think he's worth the sweat off of my genitals.

Holy upside down cakes, Batman! That's the biggest honking case of redirecting I've seen in a long time!
-
LMAO! Bull, where'd you get that flag at? That's cool.
-
LOL I found it somewhere on the net, and saved it to my photobucket account. I knew that it would come in handy one day.
-
Its clear to see this guy is not a driver, perhaps a alien from some oil rich middle east country. Bombs Away.
-
He can stand naked on the railroad tracks he loves so much! The only problem is, even the rails and ties were hauled by trucks at one time or another. If old tracks, then possibly the predecessor: freight wagons. -

To be honest with y'all, I haven't ventured over to -- or signed up for anything at -- the place responses seem to be flowing towards, or away from, JohnLawyer.
I think reading the various responses from the folks here is probably as good an indicator for responses -- in general, as it gets. I respect y'all's opinion(s) while keeping that mind of mine -- open.
And I wonder ...........................
If I had responded to my first instincts, I might have suggested JLawyer consider a law practice, or, better yet, a full-fledged FIRM.
Hard to beat "firm".
Ya reckon.
Anyway, if he could imagine a court order that he cut his case load by 50% ~~ and OF that 50% -- 50% of THAT case load must be pro-bono.
And,..............
The rent for the office space building with the desks and computers, just went up.
But -- Shux Howdy!
When does ANYthing come down?
I mean -- get real -- OH!
By the way --- the adjustable mortgage just got adjusted --- of course, up. Like I said, what comes down?
And that minor fender-bender with the family car, that wasn't really your fault, but the insurance policy holder just jacked your rates, just in case it wasn't the other driver's fault. Always good to cover all your bases.
But all those things aren't really the problem, are they?
I'm thinkin' the problem just might be where the money is going to come from to pay for all that additional -- or perhaps SUBitional -- expense?
Imagine if JLawyer had to keep a legal, federal, log book?
And turn off the office and home air-conditioner ALL year -- and just to balance that out -- no heaters in the winter.
Big fine if y'all get caught.
Could even putcha outta service -- or cut your On Duty -- Practicing hours even more -- for safety, no doubt.
But, I think, ....................... I've digressed.
Again.
Sorry.
There were many good replies contained herein. Some blunt, some curt, some pithy, some were even witty, and, truth be known, funny -- but after awhile, they -- pretty much -- started sounding the same.
And I need fresh material for my stand-up, and sometimes, stand-alone -- comedy act. Although, SOMEtimes, I ain't acting.
But I did read one from one poster -- sorry, forgot who.
Memory........................
Second thing to go
doncha know.
Anyway --- it made my open mind think!
Imagine THAT?!
Hmmmmmmmm --------------
Are we shooting the messenger -- and ignoring the message here?
I mean,....................
well,..............
lemmie 'splain,.....................
~~ WARNING!
DIGRESSION AHEAD ~~
Originally -- I had the perfect post, IM never so Humble O -- composed in my head.
But, before I put fingertip to keys, I read a tad farther.
Glad I did!
When I read the example that Skateborder'sWife posted on post #102, I think.
Remember -- my memory ain't all that great.
I remember thinkin' 'That's what I was gonna say'!
It's twue!
It's twue!
Yes it is.
Now that saved so much time for me that I thought I'd spend it with y'all
Here.
Now,.................................
JohnLawyer mentioned that the responses didn't surprise him about us -- probably in general -- but a cheap shot?
Hmmmmmmm
Maybe not.
Review the responses and keep score.
How many negative?
How many positive?
YuP!
It's that thing about catchin' more flies with sugar, maybe.
I think.
I'll go back and reread John's post, but my first impressions were that he did address a couple of points put forth in the posts to him.
Seems fair,.......... so far.
As I recall, John also brought up a few points of his own. Yet to be addressed at this time. But I'm hoping they'll be answered -- and in a civil manner.
Again, ..... seems fair to me.
And I think we ALL oughta take stock of our "image". On the road and over the internet.
You NEVER get a second chance
To make a FIRST impression.
**I heard that somewhere, -- don't know why I threw that in -- best jot it down though. It just might be on a pop-quiz later on down that road -- or over the internet -- to grandmother's house we go ----
Oopps!
Digress again, ...... didn't I?
My bad.
Here's how I sees it --------------->
JohnLawyer COULD have been playing devil's advocate -- just ran some ideas/thoughts up the ol' flagpole to see who'd salute it.
And what a salute he got!
A full 21!
Maybe more.
But most of 'em seemed to be aimed a tad low and, therefor, missed their mark. I could check instant-replay, I 'spose. But I only recall one that I think I thought -- hit close to the X-Ring.
I ask,............................
What do y'all reckon JohnLawyer learn from us?
What did we learn from JohnLawyer?
Both fair questions, I think.
***If ANYone entered a zero, or less, after EITHER of the above questions --- well,......
who's that funny guy who says, Here's YOUR Sign ?
I forget ----- again.
Sign HERE ----------> X
Or not.
Anoter poster here made reference to JLaywer's possible political preference.
I think that salute darned near got John in the Big toe --- left, (of course), foot.
That made me think,....... again, .... I think.
Of ALL the promises that politicians of ALL parties make and don't seem to keep, in general, ......... the ONE, I think, I wish they WOULD (keep) is,.....................
We WILL Work TOGETHER.
Maybe then they'd do what that other funny guy says -- Git 'er Done.
Ya reckon.
ANYwaY,................... just some thoughts I think I thunk. Throw 'em in the recycle bin -- or throw 'em in the landfill.
But I AIN'T the Video Professor.
We get mistaken for each other all the time, But,..................... I don't give y'all ten-bucks if you don't like my product(s).
Buyer!
Beware.
-
When I first saw his blog, I thought maybe he was just trying to stir up something. But then I saw his reply to the comments. I made a point to check back again to see if there were more. Enjoyed all the responses he's gotten.
-
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................... (WHAT!)
-
Man-0-Man!
If we could just sway JohnLawyer to take a closer look over to OUR side of the fence, he just might have what it takes to affect some real changes.
One of the things JL questioned was whether most of us even vote at all, let alone for the candidate(s) that might better our prospects.
I thought that was a good point.
Firing insults at him might relieve stresses, but, other than that, what's accomplished?
Whatever John's intent was -- or is -- his expectations of us were realized, he said. Sadly, I would have bet the farm that the replies would be what they, on the most part, were. It isn't easy to admit that though.
It would have been nice to read factual rebuttal that might point out the flawed thinking that was presented. Although, as I've already admitted, there were a few responses that cracked me up -- I don't care WHO y'all are. THAT was funny!
In fact, I bet John got a kick out of some of them, too. He might even admit it. But I doubt we planted any flowers.
If we have a goal, I think we oughta keep our sights set on it, and not be detracted by opinions of others with differing opinions. We CAN, and SHOULD learn as much as we can about why they're of that opinion. Who knows? There just might be a happy medium in there, somewhere.
