This company pays Bluebook miles only with a cheap milage rate , no detention pay ( and there is alot of it ) , no layover pay , no holiday pay .
If you do a local load for them the pay is $10.00 an hour....after 90 days out of the goodness of their hearts they pay $12.00 an hour . But they pay on what they think it should have taken you , not what it actually takes .
If they owe you accrued vacation when you leave , THEY WILL NOT PAY IT ! If you try to take it before you leave they will still try to screw you, it can`t be taken between Valentines Day & Mothers Day and you have to give then at least 45 days notice .
You will be married to their truck , 34 hours off if you are lucky....doesn`t matter how many days you`ve been out .
Doesn`t matter if you give them 2 weeks notice of leaveing , they will still deduct $250.00 out of your last check and screw you out of vacation pay . And it doesn`t matter how long you have worked for them , they still take it !
They have a turnover rate of 99%.....Now You Know Why
Beware of working for DTL Transportation Sanford . Fl

They got nice trucks...
-
Is this what happens when you don't read what you signed? Or for that matter ask before you get to orientation?
-
But their trailers look kinda crappy.
Do they still pay hub miles ?
-
They advertised they paid actual miles when i went with them , but right off the bat i could see that they didn`t . Their check stubs don`t show miles paid just a gross amount , so it was easy to figure out since i kept beginning and ending miles on my own .

They haul plants and this is the busiest time of the year for that, my company won't take vacation either but now is make it time... we don't have as nice a truck but we get paid as well or better and less pressure from the sound of it anyway.....

I went to DTL in Sanford Fl and didn't like what I heard. You don't work for DTL you work for TLC companies and they lease you to DTL and you can be dropped by DTL at any time. They bait you with nice Tractors and then your screwed,I told them no thanks.
