Abilene Experience

My race against the storms was lost last night. I made it to the Loves above Chatanooga off 75.

 

Chatanooga to Dublin to Mt Top to Richmond to Givens to Richmond to Givens to Richmond and Im through!!! Hometime!

 

Yep. I have caught a few bits and pieces this week. Lets see if they can keep the bats going!!

 

I should clarify my snippet about my travels. Last week I ran an avg of over 600 mi a day and ran out of hours. Thats why I was going to Givens for two days. Its right at 100mi each way there, so yes I WAS GREEDY!!!! Thurs and Friday I had right at 4.5 hrs picking up at midnight. Rather than sit I volunteered to go pick up loads that teams would need out of Richmond. It saves them the hassle of waiting getting loaded down there in Chesapeake and I tacked on an easy 400mi to my miles for the week. I am currently off-schedule for my hometime due to my Spring Break trip with my daughter so I will schedule this coming weekend as hometime albeit a short one. Then I will be back on schedule.

 

I got to the yard yesterday evening a little early to wash my truck. I had to hand-wash it which wasn't bad but i need a BlueBeacon to really get it shiny. Jeremy is coming back today so I lined up our run. Going to Gilford NH for a Tuesday morning HP delivery. I need to do our trip plan and make sure we can roll today and get parked at the site tonight.
Saturday morning I got a phone call from KJ regarding my resume. I have a shot at a different role with Abilene. So we will see.
