I only download this app when I really need it. It has been accurate for me every time. I also use the cb to try and make sure. I will delete it once I don't need it anymore because it will keep popping up on my phone saying its not responding and some other stuff. Gets a little annoying. When I do have it I will try to update both sides scales.

You mean some drivers actually get answers over the CB? I hear "why you worried" more than a yes or no, when asking about a scale. That is when I actually get a response from other drivers, that is.

I actually found a job that doesn't let me run overweight, maintains their trucks extremely well, and doesn't let us run outlaw or over HOS hours. Oh yea, and they pay by the hour, so detention , traffic, and coops don't kill my paycheck. Let the coops pull me in, I actually have nothing to worry about.

i never look 150 miles ahead of time. i look as i get close.
there's scales that are NEVER opened but the app ALWAYS reports them open. and there are scales that NEVER close. but the app ALWAYS reports them closed.

you've got scales that are closed for the night. the app says they are open. and you got scales that are open. app says they are closed.

only scales that open and close around these parts. are in cali. and that's a small selection that open and close.

it's a nice app. but thanks to driver input. it's a worthless app.

only way i see it being a useable app. is if it had some other TRUE means to report status.

you just might be on to something there. hoss. maybe it's not driver input. it's the scales themselves.
don't know why they'd need to mess with scales they never open though.

It's based on driver input. Seemed fairly accurate to me.

it's based on ANYONES input. and has been wrong 90% of the time.

i quit using it 18 months ago.

there's another app though. mentioned in another thread i'm checking out. so far it hasn't asked to bill me. like coops did.

for those that still want to beleive in the apps.

i'm sitting north of the scale on the 5 in cali.by magic mountain. been here all weekend. it keeps reporting as open. i keep changing it to closed.

it's under construction. blocked off by cones. there's a flashing sign 1/2 mile before you get to it. SCALES CLOSED. half the driveway is torn out. been closed for at least a couple of weeks. yet the app keeps saying it's open.

the scales on tehachapi. westbound is closed for 23 hours, yet another driver rolled in 5 hours ago. eastbound is open. and hasn't been used for who knows how long.
