Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

Jim i hadn't been able to read your whole thread yet been reading for 2 days and i have a question you may or may not have answered but with Maverick do you get to take the truck home or do you have to leave it at a truck stop or something and how much of the loads are tarped loads thanks in advance and also thanks for the advice you gave me the other day glad you dont mind helping others just now trying to get in the trucking industry

 

. Yep you can take the truck home if you have space to park it. Some drivers drop their trailer and bobtail home but remember, we're elogs, and maverick does not recognize personal conveyance. More tarping in the winter than in the summer. I'd say a good average would be 75-80% of the loads I haul require tarping.

 

All background checks back. Now just waiting on the decision makers to approve me for orientation and training with a driver. Well, I hope they approve me. A bit nervous and excited to get in to LR. I have been given great insight as to what to expect, thanks to these forums. Thanks to you guys for taking the time to share so much information! Made a call to Maverick first thing this morning. Was told I have been approved. Now time to turn in my notice at my temporary employer and start knocking out some of the chores on my "to do before heading to LR list".
