Preplan KCMO TO AL. 639mi load pays 920.16. for Friday.
-
What kinda truck did you lease? And on average what's your fuel mileage?
-
My setup is a 2010 paticulate filter KWT660. Has 3.55 running gears 13speed. During the winter months i avg 6.5 - 7.0 mpg. This time of year i can get 7.8 8.5 on avg. Last 2 weeks i been avg. 8.5 -9.4. Weight of loads and terrain are a big factor . My avg load last 4 weeks has been below 30,000 . So my mpgs are high.
I made it to Al this load paid 920.16 i spent 320.05 on fuel so my net revenue is 600.11. Now this load wgt was 28000. Im avg 8.9 mpg for the week so far.
This makes my 3rd load for the week . Ive collected 2329.00 in revenue after fuel for this week.
Tomorrow is another day should get empty im a day early. Did this load 2weeks ago they took me early. So we see how this plays out again. -
PREPLAN
Ga to Ks. This load picks up early deliver early and its a drop on bothends cant go wrong with that. It is heavy but we make best of it . Been fortunate with light loads lately . So we go with it. Thats how it works here. -
Hi guys, 'been following your conversation with interest. I have 2 year in with CR England and make about a thousand a week on a local job. Not bad here but I want a step up if it is a significant step up.
ACT advertises that 1st year lessees earn an average $65k/yr after costs - That sounds really good if it's true ....would you vouch for that claim? That is especially good if after 3 years or so of doing that kind of business one owns a paid-for truck!
Also, how long exactly does it take to pay off a truck?
Thank you much for any information. -
$65 - 75k is very possible and takes about 44 to 66 months to pay off a truck depending what truck you pick.kkiesznowski and dogtrucker Thank this. -
I didn't see your post earlier.
Two guys on this thread say they are very happy leasing from ACT. Do you think it may be a matter of sticking it out through the learning curve and taking some crap at first when one is a new employee? Is it luck or the region you run or the DM you get? ....these contradictory posts contribute to my agony of ambivalence over this decision!
And what's this about percentage pay? Would you tell us more please? -
Delivered my 4th load of the week . This had 233 deadhead 868 loaded i spent. 747.00 on fuel ,so i made 815.14 in revenue.
Bought way more fuel than i need but it will burn on the next load.kkiesznowski Thanks this. -
Delivered a short run that paid 374.00 i spent 150.00 on fuel. Total of 5 loads this week
For the week i collected 3200.00 in revenue after fuel expenses. 2100+ take home.
Im preplanned on a KS/OH. for a Wed delivery currently doing a 34 reset. This load pays 1234.08 sittg on 2/3 tank of fuel so ill do good for revenue again.
