I'm new to the forum and I am probably in the wrong area. I have two fault codes one is
    SAM CONTROLLER
    SHR Lo 249s254 04
    the other is
    SAM SA33 SPN521316 04

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Instead of the Cascadia being wired "directly" the way old trucks were, they are wired into a SAMS controller, there is a body module controller and a management controller. (please don't quote me on the actual correct names) but it will make your truck do all kinds of funky things, and could let you stranded.

They are not cheap, and before having a dealership tear into it make sure they have both SAMS on hand, as I had a truck down for a week because one was on back order, although that may not be the case now. One other note I will throw out there, make #### sure your alt. AND batteries are in good shape, I have had a shorted battery throw a SAMS code, just a heads up.

Also, have you had your truck washed recently or run though a lot of water? There was a recall on early Cascadias about water seeping down around the windshield seal on the pass side of the dash and I believe one of the SAMS is located there.

    Good luck.

Kinda late, but those codes are just for bulbs or relays...
Anytime you blow a bulb or a relay for the electrical system fails on the truck or trailer it will give a Sam code....
