Give it a couple of weeks, if you havent received a ticket in the mail or been pulled into a different scale, then cited or repromanded, you'll know how well that conmon sense worked..
Given the same situation, experienced drivers, would you do the same?

If you are talking to me, I have not received anything in the mail for the 2 years I have been following the prepass in Nebraska. And I drive there all the time since I live there.

Had no personal direction .. just sayiin

If PrePass is green, bypass... Follow the PrePass... If PrePass give you no lights (as in GA on 20) follow scale signs...Dinomite and tangerineGT Thank this.
-
I like to pull into closed weigh stations and flip the switch for the " open" sign on.
tangerineGT Thanks this. -
Just found out something interesting... If you get a green light, then exit the freeway BEFORE you reach the POE you must report to the POE (if open) before you re-enter the freeway... EVEN IF YOU RECEIVED A GREEN LIGHT!! This just happened for me in CO... Got green light, exited, went into the Conoco and grabbed coffee/tea... Got back on freeway. On the CB the scale house called me and told me to come back around... So I did... CDL/registration check and given a little hand out I just shared...
Just incase anyone is interested
Dinomite Thanks this. -

http://www.prepass.com/forms/Other Forms/Bypass Restrictions.pdftruckerdo Thanks this. -
Where was that in Lamar?
-
I was born and raised in Ga. No longer live there but used to be you couldn't bypass their scale if it was open, no matter how long the line was, unless prepass green lighted you that is.

Some in Oregon will give the red light while closed
