I don't know if this is a dumb question or now but I know on the long hauls you'll shire need to shower. How much do the showers coast? Are they personal or like high school showers? I'm going to a school the end of this month and was wondering just because of a condition I have I don't like people looking and asking questions.
showers?

I probably have a similar condition, it's why long term relationships don't tend to happen for me.
*sobs quietly*
Back to being serious, I'm pretty sure they are all their own shower stalls. Someone with more experience (and by "more experience" I mean "any experience" ) would be able to tell you for certain.HotH2o Thanks this. -
The showers are private and doors lock from the inside.
They have commode, sink, shower stall. -
Showers---They range from $8.00 at the independent T/S to as high as $13.00 at brand name T/S (ie Flying J-- Pilot -- T/A, etc).
If your just starting out driving, go on line to apply for the courtesy cards now, that way you will have them when you get

What? Freight haulers shower? I learn something new every day.
In all seriousness... well, maybe I should say in additional seriousness... aside from the T/S showers, you might also have shower facilities available at company yards, as well. Get a good pair of shower shoes.Chinatown Thanks this. -

I like telling people its just a big shower room full of crusty old morbidly obese truck drivers, just to see the look on their faces ...
WitchingHour, Battle Born, Guitar Man and 2 others Thank this. -
There was another strange woman that cleaned the mens room and showers at a truckstop in or near Madisonville, KY that changed it's name a few times. Once it was a Petro. She would open shower doors all the time and loudly say,"Oh, I'm sorry didn't know anyone was in there." Once she cornered me by the urinals and said, "Some of these truckers are strange, they keep exposing themselves to me, and by the way, dont use the hand soap dispenser, somebody put a turd in it."Last edited: May 8, 2014
