    Hi there,

    I was thinking of going to MFT also. Can you tell me what tests do you have to take to get your permit? It is just the General Knowledge and everything else are endorsements? Thanks in advance!

    class A you need gen knowledge, combination and airbrakes. class B, just gen knowledge and air brakes. those are just basics to get enrolled. if you want to specialize in something, take the endorsements.

    personally passed general knowledge ,air brakes and combination vehicle ..do you know if i can get my hazmat ,tanker and doubles and triples endorsements too before starting school ?

    you can if you have a class B cdl already for tanker and hazmat but for triplesand doubles, you need a class A cdl. if you dont have either yet, then no. i could be wrong. you might be able to take the test but it wont show unless you have a cdl.

    i don`t have any CDL class yet ..i was just wondering if i could take all the endorsements before starting MFT ..i will ask them at the DMV tomorrow .thanks

    so i went to the dmv today ,got my tanker and double and triples endorsements ..stopped by the MFT .talked to Derren ..i am happy that i will be in his class. Ted is another instructor ..can`t wait to start schooling.
