While I am on, I would like to hear from drivers as to what there weekly wage is. If you get paid every week or every two weeks, let the rest of us know what your gross and or net is. Maybe that would help drivers find the right company for them. If you know how much you have to pay out of pocket for benefits please let all of us know. Also, hometime is important. Please post that as well. You could be helping many people.

    bduke,

You never answered my question to you about where you work. Did I guess right? I have friends there you know. Just playing around.

    Against The Wind,

It's obvious why you have a great job ($56.00). Congratulations. Just out of curiosity, can I get the initials of where your work? Although I am happy where I work and would not change jobs, I like a good challenge.

To answer bduke and mirror Against The Wind,

Avg weekly earnings $1300 to $1600.
    Paid every two weeks.
    Medical out of pocket: $0
Hometime: Every weekend starting from when I clock out on Friday until Monday morning at 0500.
    Home terminal: Commerce, CA.

bduke, would you like additional benefits as well? Retirement, vacation, sick, and jury duty etc. I can provide them as well.

Here is what happened last week. I am one of nine tanker drivers in a fleet that has 37 total drivers. All tanker drivers were required to attend a 9 hour safety class on Saturday. Frieght drivers were not required to attened. None of us were happy because it pretty muched ruined our Saturday. I had already worked the maximum of 60 hours for the week. The 9 hours counted against us but we all had the 34 hour restart coming so we would be good to go on Monday with a fresh 60 hours. As usual, it was boring to watch videos for that length of time. It did help in that all of the time was 0/T.

Total hours for the week was 69 hours. Total pay for the week was $2015.69. I can't wait to see how much the goverment is going to take out.

Against the wind, We are pretty close in just about everything you stated. We usually work mon-fri but sometimes on the weekend which is overtime. We do make deliveries as far as colorado and are paid hourly for that as well. We also get hotel rooms and meals paid by the company. We are not a union company and I think they take of us so we will not become one. I wish some otr drivers would post on this subject. I wonder why they don't. Not to be offensive but do you think the reason is that they can't compare. New drivers need to see what they will be paid. I made a little over 61k last year. Not to bad for being home almost every night. 074344 I will give you a hint as well. The initials are pd. See if you can guess that one.

    Against The Wind,

I am drawing a complete blank. That could be food, drink or textiles. How about another hint? Maybe a street and cross street? I am usually in Chino once a week.
