Yeah. I'll be honest. I didn't understand why bull haulers went so fast at first. Then I talked to a driver and he explained it to me. So now if I see one coming up on me (or any fast truck coming up real quick) and I'm just starting to pass another driver to where I'm not passed their trailer yet I just jump back behind the driver and resume passing when he's passed me. Ain't like it takes more than a few second for them to blow my doors off. Lol

Did you read anything else I posted, other than that line? Maybe you should try, and you'd see the folly in directing that comment at me.

Pay no attention to wyldhorses. He is a poser.....ha has never trucked. He dropped out of a trucking school after 2 days back in 1993. Somehow he feels qualified to tell truck drivers what's what.wyldhorses Thanks this.

Guess it's cheaper than making sure their driver's learn to shift...
Just quit there after having a partner (not the reason I left) that nearly every time he shifted, just slammed the transmission, that real jerking dropping sound. Every shift, cringeworthy... If I didn't have to live in a confined space with the guy, I'd have cussed him out for ####### up the transmission so badly. It wasn't "my" truck and I was on my way out the door, but I just feel bad for "the truck" when it's treated so poorly... She didn't deserve it
Criminey Jade, Night Ranger, rank and 1 other person Thank this. -
You have more self control than I. There is no excuse for continually slamming the transmission.Brandson Thanks this.

That's what I learned to drive on....simple once you get the hang of it. Just don't forget where you're at......

That's what made me really mad, d o ing it that poorly is on purpose after a few weeks. Old guy with no manners or brains. Got lost in Montana while I was sleeping. All he had to do was stay on 90...TruckDuo Thanks this.

These companies should have both manuals and autos available for drivers and let the them choose what they want. The caveat to this is that if a driver watts a manual they have to take an extensive road test to prove they shift the truck properly and handle it.
