My Journey with Superior Carriers

Made a delivery this morning in Iowa City, Iowa took about 2 hours to pump off... then took the empty to Markham and picked up a loaded headed for Hartwell, Georgia. I am getting use to the surge as far as stopping and shifting. I think I will be heading out with a new trainer after this week but I may be local next week. So far the training is going great and I am very happy to be on with Superior. I will update soon.

 

Thank you! Yes things are going well with Superior I am very happy with the training and the company in general. We left Monday dropped a load in Spartanburg and then waited about 2 hours to be loaded. We then left headed to Lima, Oh. We stopped last night about 10pm in Cincinnati getting ready to leave in a few for our 11am delivery.
It will be a little difficult to follow the diet 100% during training but you can still make healthy choices OTR. First thing is continue to drink only water don't want to start the soda drinking. In 3 weeks OTR I have gained about 1 pound. Once I get my own truck I will bring my own food etc. And by doing that it will save money at truck stops and keep me eating healthy.

Things are going great the training is excellent and I couldn't be happier with Superior Carriers. Pay during training is 100 per day but once you are out on your own you get paid the same as everyone else .47 loaded and .40 empty plus hourly pays etc.

I am currently at the company hotel in High Point, NC started out Sat with a run to Webster NY then over to Springfield, MA then to Roanoke Rapids, NC. I will probably be getting a reset tomorrow.

I am getting anxious to get out on my own and make more than the 100 per day. I will try to update more often.
