You're not wrong. I worry about myself, that even though I am enjoying my vacation, I still think about driving. Miss Passport enjoys the nice words about her and says "salamat po" (thank you). I would not go as far as to say I miss my driving job, but I do think about it.

I had a bit of a surprise on my last day with TransAm that they ask me to submit a resignation letter, I thought I was just going to stay employed and take extended unpaid leave. Anyway, it worked out, I contacted TransAm about my return and they gave me final approval to come back as a company driver next month, helping with transportation from the airport and a hotel room when I get back to the terminal.

Now on Siargao Island (South Central Philippines). Known for surfing and sport fishing, we have done neither. But I am now sunburned from snorkeling in the crystal clear waters off the beach of our little family run resort:

 

If you do leave TransAm, I hope you remain as one of the ghosts on this thread. I always read your posts and respect what you have to say, you seem like a level headed driver with experience to continue to help out with all of us newbies here.

 

If I were guessing I would say this is the answer on the question about Prime and the reason that there has been a trailer exchange ... TransAm would still be TransAm and leases wouldn't be affected, also think that the trucks would still be governed the same.

I heard that T/A might have to sell to Prime is because T/A is paying there Lease drivers so much that they are losing money.
