I'm a minimalist. Company name, USDOT on side of bunk with IFTA stickers. Didn't have a truck number for quite awhile. Don't run south or west so no KYU or CO VIN. Never a peep about it.

dont need mc unless ur in certain states.
Need;
Company Name
DOT
truck number
You need to have a fire extinguisher, but don't need the sign. Some states requier part of the vin number. -
You don't need MC in any state, just DOT#.Coolbreeze Thanks this.

When I got my authority, the accompanying letter said
USDOT ########, Operating name
dot # had to be at least 2" in height and in a color that could be read against the background @ 25 feet.
i put the town and state I'm from on there too, so local folks would know I was "from around here" when they see me on side roads and back roads. -
If your fire extingusher is not readily visible when you open the drivers door, then the "fire extingusher inside" sign has to to be afixed to the door where it is located, ie: passinger door, sidebox door, etc.

Thanks guys, I kept it simple put the company sticker on with US Dot and MC number, IFTA and unit number. The fire extingusher is located between seat base and driver door, so I should be good on that. I didn't put my annual inspection sticker anywhere may just throw it in permit book an provide if asked for.

good idea to put inspection sticker on outside someware. If they need to ask for it, they may look for other things.
