Im guessing its a Ground issue..But Heres my Question,
I Tried Starting the Truck Today and have NOTHING.....(Yes,yesterday it was fine on my way to the yard...)
Today,I tried to start it and got a quick 'bump' from the starter and thats it..Now I have NO power anywhere,No Interior Lights no Nothing,Batteries are New,Volts were Good Yesterday...
Keep in Mind the Roads are Terrible..Did I Break a Ground? Where do I Start Checking? I bounced the truck up and down while I was Standing on the Step and interior lights came on and off.
Thanks Mick
No Electrical power Anywhere,,Please help

I would start by cleaning and checking battery cables. I assume your batteries are inside the step you were bouncing on?
-
NO...Batteries are between the fuel tank and drive axle , But i'll Re-Check them, They wre TIGHT and Clean -
Is there voltage at the batteries? Do you have meter or test light?
-
Yes..I Have 13 volts at the batteries.....I Tested Them, Everything is tight,Clean and Good At ther batteries..
where do the Cables go once they Leave the Batteries..To the starter? to a ignition Module/ecm? I Crawled underneath to see if i can Find a Broken Cable..But im not sure where to look
Keep in mind folks......I Have NO POWER whatsoever to the Truck.....No interior lights,No CB Radio..NOTHING, Basically In Not getting any Current From the Batteries To the Truck -
Most trucks have the main battery cables go the starter. From there it will branch out to the main cab feed and tie into the alternator. The starter is the next place to look. There are times where the cables will be tight, but have a bad electrical connection due to corrosion or other issues such as arch burns. Usually putting a socket on the nut and just a slight turn is enough to reestablish an electrical connection. You didn't mention what kind of truck you have. Most modern trucks have some kind of main cab fuse. That could have popped.
stayinback Thanks this. -
Just came back in.....Cables do go to Starter, Cleaning everything up Now, Will check for Breaks in cables/And tighten all Connections to Starter, I Do Believe that is where my problem is -
I'm thinking you have a ground cable from the batteries that grounds at the frame right next to the battery box.
