For $900/wk, you can get a brand new Freightliner Cascadia Evolution. 3yr contract and after that, $60k and it's yours. From what I hear from other drivers with this truck, it's very fuel efficient. But you're better off getting it straight from the dealer.
-
You need to read and own your agreement. What you need is in there.
In my case I can break lease with 3 days notice , forfeit escrow and any monies owed me like current settlement. And of course, they get truck.....unless what they collect satisfies lease commitment.
Get to reading and shame on you if you don't have a signed copy to read.
Good luck
( You signed a lease for $1200 a week? Before fuel? With Schneider? Running solo? ) no comment.......
Very good luck to you driver...... -
$900 a week, then a $60k balloon payment what a deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
That's over 200,000 for a Cascadia that Schneider probably paid $70,000 for.
-
Exactly. Actually, they got it for free because they use OPM "other people's money" to pay for it. And we are the dumb ##### paying for it.

I turned my truck in over 6 months ago and they haven't said a word or charged me anything.nothing is on my credit report either. I did a 1yr lease it may be different if you do 3 or 5 year lease.
-
It's 795 for truck payment 105 for maint. Then you have permit, plates, workers comp, escrow, insurance and buy back deductions. I don't regret it I learned from my mistakes and moved on.

Hey I was just wondering how long were you with Schneider before turning in the truck? And also food they ever send you a bill or put it n your credit? I'm about to turn mine in. I can handle the payment but my truck has mechanical issues they can't fix.
