So far they have not named the restaurants, etc. where this ground beef was distributed .....and the only states named so far are the ones that have confirmed illnesses .....but....use caution when ordering meals.

 

Oh we know it's only the beginning and there will be issues lol. He has done so well with the issues so far.

 

Fine by me if this event causes Wolverine Packing to be shut down. It is in a horrible neighborhood and when I deal with the staff of Wolverine, I feel like I am dealing with criminals.

I would imagine it would be of most use in the fall-winter-spring times of the year when fronts are passing through and pushing trailers around.

Yep, WalMart is on a roll this week. The King had a delivery there yesterday that took twice as long as it should have and threw everything off schedule. Soooo ....what did you do that was so bad?

 

After sitting there for 4 hours and never even getting a red light while most of the trucks were leaving I went in to CTO. Asked why I had a 0615 appt but had yet to get a red light. They started giving me lip and I was already in a bad mood so dished it right back. I blew up and said that if somebody didn't start working the load soon I was going to take that Cargill load back to ###### Cargill and not to bother calling my dispatcher because I was already doing it to tell her what I was doing. Then stormed out the door while the window gal and office manager were still yelling at me. My new buddy Mark, the Prime driver who was in the door to my left, said the guy was on his walkie talkie real fast and then the guy followed me to my truck! I thought he was going to tell me to leave the premises, but he just wanted to ensure I wasn't going to move the trailer. Because funny thing... I now had a red light and 40 minutes later was empty!!

The day continued in a downward spiral, but I'm headed home tonight. I cleared my overhead this week and have a preplan to clear overhead next week too. I will be at home til the 27th
