Who do you drive for? You must be talking about the Chowchilla scales on the N/B side of 99.

 

Good for you taking the load back to get reloaded. It is not worth dodging scales these days and simply no reason to do it.

Have a short run I'm picking up in St Louis this morning to Minnesota. They are trying to get me to the yard for scheduled maintenance.

 

I drive for Holland. I was headed out east on I-40 so the only scale I'd have to had gone through was out there on 58. And I yes I know it is usually closed, and it was when I went through it. But if I had been overweight it would have been open. And I'm just done dodging scales unless I'm not going to lose time or it something that is my fault that I have to take care of. I'm not dodging scales and taking extra time for another driver's mistake. The delivery had to be re-scheduled and I got home a couple of days later, but so be it.

 

I unloaded in KC yesterday giving me over 3000 for the week and reloading now to Las Vegas. Too bad the timing didn't work out better so I could spend Memorial day weekend in Vegas. I unload Friday and hope to get some long distance out of there for the weekend.

 

Headed to the shop this morning for service and a few minor repairs. Will be my first run through there so interested to see how it goes.

 

I was just there a few days ago.
