Hi bergy, I agree, that's got to be the meaning of "true love", like a woman in love with a cigar smoker.( or visa versa?) I'm happy they got out , although, we don't know what kind of bath they took, and it's none of our business, but when I bought my 1st truck, I already had 15 years in trucking, so I knew full well what I was dealing with, for the most part. At least they gave it a try, and it could very well have been a personal issue. I've seen couples on the road where the woman didn't drive, and that's got to be a boring life for her.
Need advice... Pulling the plug...after 2 weeks?

It really is a shame to give up so so quickly. But, we all do what we feel is best. You can always get your CDL and go on the road yourself. It would only take a few weeks. This business isn't for everyone. Just because someone makes a good driver doesn't necessarily mean that they should become an owner operator.

Did he state that the truck would run just fine with the light on?? I drove an international that would do that. Black tape worked.
