I have my DB4 mounted center high with the rand 510 just to the right of it and it hides the DB4. Been in my truck for some time, only one DOT (Washington on 395 south scale) said that I could not have in my truck. I ask him why, he said radar detector were illegal. Flip down the view screen and said smile. He sent me on my way.

So, are they going to ticket these trucks that run a temp registration and put a full size piece of paper on the right windshield?
-
Lost on this question, what does this have to do with a dash cam.

Blocking your vision.

I understand the question now, mine don't not block my vision.

how do you find the 10" screen mounted notebook do you have Internet access as well as maps ,just curious as I've noticed lots of drivers switching to bigger versions of Tom Tom and garmin sat-navs
-
Don't block the view of the hood.

I find it's the perfect size. I have no use for those little screens.
Yes. It's just a regular net book. I use wifi or use my cell phone as a mobile hot spot for internet. -
The Michigan scales on I-75 have ticketed a few drivers from my wife's LTL company for their GPS's being too high on their windshields. My wife runs hers just barely off the dash near the center attached to the windshield and hasn't had any problem even during a DOT inspection with it there. I ran mine in the same spot when I used to need one and never had a problem either. I suppose a lot of this has to do with what kind of the day the officer is having or how hard up they are to write some tickets of any kind....
