Let all who visit TTR know: I am proud to be bashed and disparaged in the same sentence with you.

Let the good work continue!

Raise the consciousness of the dimly conscious, expose blowhards and hypocritical cheerleaders, point to the truth that an industry segment with 100% turnover of new hires every six months is no 'industry'--it is a travesty and a national shame.

Have there been successes at Con-Way?

Hell, there've probably been successes at C.R., but that doesn't make it a good company to drive for. A strong few will pull through no matter the obstacles thrown at them. Even some tadpoles grow up to be frogs. Most end up some bird's lunch.

Let's stand together. You and me.

Stand up for workers, especially drivers, who if paid even minimum wage would force drastic changes on the OTR truckload industry TOMORROW!

It is indeed a national shame.

And this thread continues a year later with the two same co conspirators that have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that they know nothing about trucking or how to be a driver. It's especially interesting when it's about one of the better "megas". Conway offers decent wages, great equipment, good benefits and an opportunity to make a decent living. How I know this without working there? A very good friend of mine was there. He left to pursue owning his own business. This guy hates everything, everyone sucks, everyone is a scumbag and everything is jacked. Told me he'd go back to Conway in a second. And from him, that's saying a lot. Don't worry about those who couldn't make it. If you make it, you've already won the argument from the two know nothing trolls. Be safe guys.

 

This is a true paragraph..I know NOTHING about Conway..Except I can pass them on the Big Road.. I have been in my hometown this past week..And a "ghost" from my past showed up in my life. "Randy" moved to TX 30 years ago and back in the "day" was one tough SOB and looking at him now....well...he hasn't gained much weight..

Now.......How can one talk about 30 years gone by-you cant-but......I still saw (and felt) the same fire in his eyes from all those years ago..Nothin to mess with...We talked as old friends we are.....Anyway..When he told me he was Conway Dedicated I admit to being disappointed as I hoped he was as stupid as I to being flatbed till my last breath however....Randy must have sensed this and showed me one of his check stubs and let me say......As all those years ago...looking at my 1st wife cheerleading-it took my breath away..

BTW....When I run I make $1800 a week gross (8 days)...He makes a hell of a lot more....Just-a-sayin.......................

I guess when some folks fail at something and can't admit culpability in their own failure, their recourse is to tear down those who are succeeding. "My little voice is not being heard so let my cry louder." Most of us moved past this behavior around puberty. Others did not. "I'll show you! I'll get the thread moved!"
