All the times I was in texas . I have never seen a scale open once
-
Scales were closed on 30 yesterday and there was a city kitty doing a truck in Rockwall, I think.
The guys in Arkansas had a big party at the inspection site around Benton. They had the tent out, big fan, portable lights, coolers. They had a line way out on the highway for their party. Just rolling them across. I guess the big party was after dark. -
I just heard about the AR one from someone else, was still going on today apparently as well.
-
Wrong, prepass is assigned to the truck not the driver. Prepass has no info on the driver.
Correct. The Prepass transponder when passing thru the prepass reader before the scale only knows the Company name, truck#, and trucks credentials. -
Came out of Baldwinsville, NY. earlier today, and the DOT was pulling drivers to side, as they went thru the west bound toll booths, west of Buffalo, they pulled the truck in front of me in, and waved me on.
crazw Thanks this. -
Texas did that last year during road check as well. They need to start using the big tv screen for nice long breaks for the DOT officers lol.
-
Well, I'm starting in WY and headed to NJ. I'm wondering if I'll get pulled in.
But in the past 2 days I've only had green with my PrePass, and/or the scales have been closed.
I haven't seen anything of the blitz so far. -
Me neither I ran from NJ to ohio and back. And even was by Pittsburgh nothing blitzy about it.
-
DOT is focusing on hazmat tankers this year and load securement on flatbeds to a lesser extent.
