Best place to buy a TriDrive Pete in Alberta is at CAMEX in Nisku. They come from the factory fully rigged up the way you want them. No local shop to install fenders, headache rack, tool boxes, PTO's, wet kit etc. All done at the factory. I would say that price wise probably about 15-18 less than at the Pete dealers.

We called the Co-op sets King "B"'s. And they were allowed to use them on county roads etc and the GPS would calculate the kms and rate per kms based on weight and each municipality was paid for road use.

Not really, the satellite reports are very well detailed just like todays satellite look after all you IFTA reports with deadly accuracy.

@prairieboy Do you pull Super Bs (with tridems on the lead trailer) with your tri- drive tractors? Any downside to it? Is it terrible when it comes to fuel, turning radius and tire scrubbing???

Too long for the Super "B"'s but I could have them built with a longer turning radius and be legal.

As far as tire wear etc., we just use a rate that covers our costs as any trucker should do.

Don't forget Saskatchewan goes down to 22,000 on the drives with a tri drive truck, 24000 on trailer still.

Steady/consistent. Lots of older guys retiring over the next few years, across the board, which will sustain demand for new people. Remember that regardless, there's always a high turnover so if you are a long term "sticker" you'll have opportunities and/or stability. Wages likely to stay as is in relation to costs.
