About two months ago, I did it twice in a week. For another few weeks after that, I was OCD about it....check, re-check.....re-re-re-re-check.....got a lot of exercise going back and forth from one side of the truck to the other.....
I forgot to put my fuel cap on after fueling........

I grew up at a country store, this topic brought back some memories of those days. Seeing tin cans stuck over the gas filler pipe, horse shoe holding the door shut, & even cardboard over broken out windows.
Haven't seen anything like that in many years.
All of us humans are fogetters, & sometimes we forget to put the gas cap back on, those chains sure are life savers, saved many of us I expect from a tongue lashing by the boss man. -
And I thought I was the only one going crazy, checking and double-checking things... and then checking again...
Thank you 48Pack... I don't feel soo bad now...48Packard Thanks this. -

SHHHHH. Don't tell anyone. Just go over by your fuel tank and with your best Steve McQueen cool move, just nonchalantly put the cap back on and be on your way...

Haha thanks, well lucky me I didn't make a wrong turn into a nascar race. it does seem like they build the fuel intake smart at an angle knowing that this might happen. i guess thats why they chain hook the cap to the thing too lol -
Not nearly as bad as driving down the road, looking in the mirror and seeing your trailer doors swinging in the wind.
