Was curious whether any of you drivers has had any false/incorrect info entered into your driving stats into the FMCSA site? My record "was" clean with no tickets, speeding or otherwise and no accidents/incidents that were deemed preventable. I recently ordered and received my report from the Hire Right/DAK report folks which provide you a copy once per year at no charge, and it was clean. Immediantly after this, I applied to a local carrier who, after running my AP, informed me that they ran my FMCSA Driver Record and the info on the FMCSA site stated that I worked for a Company in EL PASO, TX, "Complete Distribution Serv, INC and that I had received a speeding ticket in Illinois back in January 2012 which was issued by a DOT Weigh Station. This information is totally untrue, have never heard of or worked for any carrier in Texas and I was actually driving for Tyson Foods at this time. I had a pretty hard time trying to explain this inaccuracy to my prospective employer, who did decide to hire me and deemed the incorrect info as some strange fluke. What really bothers me is, how this inaccuracy showed up on my license to begin with and that it was the DOT at a weigh station who apparantly entered the wrong info to begin with. How does this happen? Of course I like everyone else have had to park, carry my paperwork etc. into different weigh stations, show them BOLS, License, Medical cards etc. How does a DOT officer end up issuing and entering totally wrong info on someone else's license??? I am stumped....any ideas? Will probably be a cold day in hell before I am able to get it removed, if at all, and what's to prevent them from entering even more serious info into a driver's record incorrectly like a DOT recordable accident or even worse, a fatality?

It's called human error and now you get to jump through the hoops to clear it..there should be some recourse for us drivers to sue for damages for incorrect/false info..how to ? I dont know.
.bunch of phone calls is the start

This is very unfortunate, but I'm happy to hear you were awarded the new position anyway. Is there no accountability in this industry? I'm sure someone here will 'weigh' in (pardon the pun) here and help you, and me to understand how this can happen. Good luck with the new company.

Believe me that some of those bone headed DOT inspectors can get it wrong. It's happened to me and you can rectify the situation by calling your local FMCSA office and get it erased via Data Q. Tell them your story and ask them for proof of the ticket, or whatever. I know, because I've done this too. I found the lady at Data Q to be very helpful and it all worked out. Always good to keep on top of things
    good luck.

Not to get political but with all of the "illegals" from across the globe on our roads today, stolen identity is becoming all too common as well as poor data-entry personnel messing up names and id's and the screw-up ends up where they end up.
