I am currently out with a trainer after going to quality drivers. My experience was a very good one, the facility is very nice and the instructors were very thorough. I passed all of my test the first time around and it took eight weeks to complete the course. They even sent me home to correct my social security card and brought me back (paid both ways). I also got a GREAT trainer who is very safe and has years of experience. So far, so good!

I passed all my test first time round endorsements included. Not worried about hazmat though since that will need to be retaken once I am back home. It seems that it could be 4 weeks before I am out of here. I will blame the BMV!!!! Looks like this week will include backing and road time, but it all depends on those people ahead of me. Hopefully I can blow past them. Parallel having never done it basically looks like half a blind side and 45/90.

@dum I guess you were the lady who ran into class to have your hat signed Friday/Monday? ;p Congrats! I will keep my cosy room with the window facing the range. Hehe

Congratulations on passing the tests! I came in to have Max sign my hat this morning so whoever did it before that wasn't me. At least you got a room with a good view. That room will let you stay out of the sun/rain and still be out on the range in time for your turn in the truck. :)

Do you start orientation this week? Good luck on the 90!

    Green,

Orientation always starts the Monday after you pass the Celadon test. The 90 isn't nearly as bad as I had been anticipating. I didn't knock all of the trailers over like a giant domino set so I feel better. In theory, I will be testing out on Friday so orientation will be on the following Monday.

Kinda interesting; took the general knowledge test in the tool bar, and missed passing it by two points. Have never read about it, or studied it.

Yea the 90 is fairly simple for me. As soon as I start my jack knife I just watch my trailer tandems out my driver side window with the occasional look out my passenger side mirror as if I was actually some where that is populated with other people and trucks. Tunnel vision can be bad. Just remember when to start counter steering to get back underneath the trailer. Do they give you any pull ups or GOALS? If so I am curious as to how many on the 90.

Anyway, just chilling in my room until they get me put on the sheet for the range. Im soooo bored.

    Green,

The rules for the 90 are park the trailer in less than 15 minutes without hitting anything. You should have no problem with it.

I passed the Celadon Test today. I am an actual Celadon employee! Orientation is on Monday and lasts three days. Then I get to figure out what to do while I wait for a trainer.

Green_20, TMLangley and harlycharly55 Thank this.
