the reason for cre, is they offered a free CDL for 6 months of service.after showing my DD214, I was told that I didn't qualify for veteran status because I didn't make it to Iraq, now my recruiter Daniel cootey, stated as long as I had this, its a 6 month gig. my arraingements were made when I was out after having my right middle finger ripped off by a steel grate of a forklift. I neededmoney to support my family. so my recruiter fed me all the lines I wanted to hear as well as to my wife. so I took it, just to get a CDL..... its my fault iwent there, mywife supported me in this decision. she hated the idea because her dad died in thecab of his truck from a heart attack... I convinced her other wise. now im sorry I ever did. my wife is only looking out to helpother people. that's all......and yes I am a former driver. my CDL lapsed last year while I was transporting inmates across country in a van..... again this is my fault...

 

The only part that's your fault was going there when you guys knew that CRE was bad. Now time to pick yourself up sir and find you another job.

 

CRE has been hit with LARGE Class Action lawsuits for good reason, and this thread is yet another warning for anyone considering that so-called training company.

CRE has gotten away with things, and who knows about this, could be more to the story, but how many of these have we heard in regards to this company. But they can get away with it because it's totally legal. There's a sucker born every minute. And that's where CRE builds it's fortune. They lay it all out for you in the lease contract. Of course they say it's not forced. It doesn't have to be. Propaganda about leasing constantly hammered to these new drivers with dreams of chrome and big money.

 

I hate C. R. England, they started doing these driver surveys every 3 months to try to improve things, all they did was add the gps to the quallcomm which all the other companies do anyways and they changed the payroll comdata card, which doesn't affect you if you use direct deposit. I feel that it's too little too late, Chester Rodney England would be ashamed of what his grandchildren did to his company. I'm lds and I hate that my church gets a bad reputation because of the lds founder and the ceo Chad England is possibly lds.

They have this gb leasing website for C. R. England employees to purchase a car, but the interest rate is 13.5%! What a ripoff. http://gbleasing.com/_index.html

They used to give their phase 1 trainers a $100 bonus if their student signed on the lease, which they changed after a lawsuit.

 

Lol. You've got to know that as soon as you said you work for C.R. England you lost all credibility with the great majority of people following this thread.

You have no business even offering leasing to students, they have no idea what it takes to run a trucking business.You are setting them up to fail right out of the gate imho...

I Googled "Driver Advocates Department CR England Suzanne" and found that "Suzanne" has posted exactly the same sales pitch at The Ripoff Report, here at TTR, and at something called the Complaints Board. You can find her posts by using the same search term I used. Given CRE's reputation--which I remember from the early 1990s--CRE's spamming isn't a surprise, nor is it new.
