They're probably banking on many of them taking the offer, since it's right there and pretty much guaranteed. I hope they don't. Heck, the company I'm with now just raised our pay to $0.46/mile and most of us are home every night. And I didn't even have 2 years in when I started here.

Noone was offering .32 cpm. Lowest I saw was .40 cpm and there were 5 companies there talking to drivers yesterday.
-
thats good enough to pay bills, until you find something better
with rates going pretty good these days, i wonder how these guys go out of business
probably too many hands in the cookie jar -
Only one name on the list someone posted of recruiters , raised a red flag.
-
I meant out in S. Jersey, sorry for the dangling modifier. It was one of the CL postings; he called, and just hung up when they told him. I think he's gonna go to PMTG, they made a pretty decent offer. Have you lined up another gig yet?

So what is a good company to work for? 9 years at NCT. I could not make it on 32 cpm.
-
if i were in your shoes, i would take the first thing and keep looking for something better
and yes, 32cpm sucks but it beats a blank -
or when you sit down at the next recruiter, tell them what you made at new century and tell them to match it, or you will keep looking
you do have some say in this -
Go hit up S Jersey CL; lots out there, many are target NCT drivers...

I don't live in NJ. I live in the center of PA. I am not even at the yard yet. Just made last delivery in IN today. Who is there recruiting?
