How is it possible that DAT is doing a world class fraud and every one keeps on paying them millions of dollars and no one says anything??
This is my 3rd day, trying to book a load out of NJ market, which looks very strong and qualify to be over $3/mile for a long run. Here are the stats from DAT.
But some reason TQL, Landstar, JB Hunt, Schneider, and many more have collectively answered my phone calls either "load has been covered yet the load gets re-listed again and again to the next day" or the answer is with a rate so low that it is unaffordable yet the market could be going crazy in load posting rates up to 40 posts per/minute in 100 mile radius. So does every one else is not able to book a load with these brokers or they are going against me alone.
If every one is starving like me that mean they are making a fortune, because the consumer is crying out load and complaining that the freight rates have gone too too high to provide the gallon of milk at $1.5/gal, they have increase the price to $3/gal saying the freight rates are too high.
Are these brokers manipulating all the small companies??? And taking mega millions to themselves while make the poor man do all the hard work???
If they are going after the small people like me then who is providing them my personal data which is not available in the company listing any shape or form.
Who is coordinating the sabotages and terrorism and phone blocking, the list goes on.

I have been in trucking business for 5 years and have not been able to find an honest broker or shipper? Never got an answer to the Certified mail, regular mail, email or the phone call, from Walmart Freight Dept, Roosvelt Paper, Dollar General, the list goes on...... How about Melon1 and Macfarms.Yet I got a call from BM2 for water Melons load for $3/mile which is supposed to be $4.5-up to $6 on 600 miles run. So WTF are the terrorism supporters are talking about free market??? Does it mean that only terrors of this country will thrive from now on or any hard working "MAN" can go to work and earn his bread n butter??? F u all those who support the behind the scene or up front terrorism and wish the same or worst in this world and here-after..

Also when you do find a load that works for you smart truckers like me ask "how often do you move these loads" if they say all the time I save there number in my phone and next time I'm heading that way I call before I get there to let them know.

Your a lost cause you won't take a min to listen to anyone that knows what there doing your not going to find a 600 mile load out of NJ for $6/mi so stop it!!

While I am not defending DAT or any broker in any way shape or form--according to your post--

"trying to book a load out of NJ market, which looks very strong and qualify to be over $3/mile for a long run"

What am I missing here? I've been at this game a very long time....$3 a mile LONG outta Jersey? huh--do you really believe this? 3+bucks a mile--short--very possibly--I've gotten close to 10 just to jump the bridge into the city--but long?

Maybe its time to take a hard look at your biz model...or maybe I am just missing something....cause it seems to me everytime you post--you are stuck somewhere you are complaining about rates and dishonest companies--????

It is very obvious some one is trying to support the terrorist behind the scene by saying I am looking for a load out of NJ at $6/mile over 600 miles. That is BS.
I have never said that, neither closing the account with the largest load board in the US freight market will do any good. Would you do business with a trash broker like GMH from MA area who I clearly asked to write on the rate sheet that the originals are not required, and the real good (crisp clear copy via email will be accepted) copies will be accepted. Yet he gave me BS for advance and quick pay (I have stopped doing business without 50% advance, after not finding a single honest broker in 4 years, may be its due to the phone interception Bullshi*** or what). The style of keeping a trashy broker's number and calling on him exclusively, and begging him, in a truckers market, even after he does not keep his word, and gives you all kind of Bull Shi** is for the very un-educated and mentally slow n unfortunate person. It is truckers market, and working on spot market (similar to daily stock trading on Wall Street) takes computer skills. If some one has both trucking and computer skills, he is far more ahead of the game, as long as, he is not followed by terrorism behind the scene. Ask any of the smart truckers on the road, who can drive and look at the load board and make a phone call. They all will tell you that if you can drive and have own authority you are pure money at least $500/ week clear. I have interviewed 100s if not 1000s truckers for not being able to find a load and recorded their income note books, (one is attached here as a proof that his weekly shows not going into any bad areas he clears $5500/week and only drives 1800-2200 miles. So what goes on from the time I call and put on hold for 10-15 minutes on every call??? How come all the load are either answered covered or the rate is told to be $1-$2 no matter how hot the market is and no matter which market I am in. Why that is any time I call, the concerned person is never available. How come every load is with appointments, over night and cheap and 10 different people calling the driver on a cheapest load??
The attached sheet is from a guy who did not speak well, and was not an expert either. The truck was not the 100 mph truck either

Let's take a quick look at something you have mentioned several times. Let's say there are 10 loads and only two trucks, you are saying in your head that you should get $6.00 / mile....well then take another look and you realize that ten different brokers have the same load, they are just posting from different cities. Now there is only 1 load and two trucks. Quickest one to $1.50 mile gets it. Learn what freight lanes are good at what time of year and you will do a little better.

Write out a business plan vs chasing crap all over the place. It should only take getting punched in the face 1 or 2 times w/ crappy rates before you steer clear of an area. Personally it took me 4 or 5 times of getting punched in the face but, then again I am hard headed. Eventually I had narrowed down a business plan that eliminated certain states, like TX, FL, the Northeast. After learning that lesson I then only booked loads to TX and FL for direct customers who understood the outbound was so crappy that the inbound had to be high. Find a few direct shippers in the meantime that you can occasionally get loads from, which in itself will lower your blood pressure and appreciate your service and professionalism. Tomorrow is another day, just learn from today.
