I own this 2000 Freightliner ddec iv . I have the pass pro set for 65, press on the pedal to the floor twice and it will go to 75.
I set the parameters (with the aid of a sharp kid at a Freightliner dealer in Harrisburg pa) so I could go 75 mph 99% of the time.
Cruise is limited to 65. The pass pro section of the ecm is separate from basic parameters so limited readers (canada) cannot see the pass pro parameters. So many choices as to boggle the mind.
I rarely go above 65, save some fuel and wear and tear. I can fully understand why most trucking companies would not use the feature because of the abuse. When I was a supervisor for Penske Logistics I witnessed it firsthand.

I don't want confuse anyone with terminology. All of the parameters I set are oem features provided by Detroit Diesel in my ddec iv. No other products involved.
