My son is ready to tell USA to stick their truck where the sun doesn't shine because they continually told him to drive the truck with an exhaust leak. The problem is that he has an offer from Hogan, which doesn't sound too promising after reading the forums here.

they are near the bottom of the list as far as a good company is concerned. Probably good for someone just getting started thats about it.

One of their recruiters calls me weekly offering like .22 cpm. I laughed at em the first time and told them not to call back but they still call weekly... Yeah I want to live in a truck, never get home and all for McDonalds level wages. Actually at McDonalds I might get to see my wife and kids on a regular basis.

I drove for them - one week. My co-driver and I were told that they needed a team to run a dedicated route. Okay, we signed up. When we got to orientation we were treated like criminals right off the bat, telling us how they would prosecute us if we stole fuel. How we need to look better than how we were dressed (jeans, boots, pressed shirts), and so on. But we figured he was having a bad day and blew it off. We got our truck and waited for our first dispatch. It was NOT the dedicated we were told. When we asked about it they told us to wait, they were still figuring out the route. When we left for our first run it was to the east that we requested not to be sending us (reason we took the dedicated-it was west). When we finally talked to human resource the guy told us that it was just an experiment and we were to be the guinea pigs. Not funny. We turned our keys in and left quick, fast, and a hurry. No, will never drive for them again.
