Fox News; Swift Transportation buys Walmart

Its not true...just a link to a joke page....stupid waste of my time.

 

I was almost tempted to click on it. I remember in the early 90s when the Swift replaced the car haulers Allied, Leaseway and Ryder in Selkirk NY. What a disaster that was. Only ones to benefit greatly from it were the scrap metal recyclers.

 

I heard Swift and JB were getting together with intermodal, its supposed to be called Swift Hunt Intermodal Transport. You'll see S.H.I.T. on the side of every truck and container.

Oh, the days of bad trucking jokes have long gone.

 

That might explain why all the 7-11 in my are are closing down.

well at least my pay stub isn't fantasy anyway.
I had 2372 for miles one extra stop , a tad of detention and gross was a tad over 1,100.

Edit : forgot empty miles , 669

Still room for improvement , I would like to see about 2500 to 2700 miles a week , but I dont know if its gonna happen.

All honesty , I kinda fell into this when my DM quit . She kinda helped me out ..

I have to admit I clicked on the one that my friend sent to me in a email. I posted it on like page 1 or 2.
I actually sort of a little bit believed at first glance . Hahahaha

 

This was similar to the merger back in the 80s of several good-sized grocery chains in NC....Big Star, Piggly Wiggly, and Harris Teeter. Rumor was Dolly Parton bought a controlling interest in them.

The chain was going to be renamed Big Wiggly Teeters.....
