They tried are the magic words,are they doing that today?There's 8 plus million ppl in NJ that law would go real well in the North east.The very ones who made that into law would be the first to break it.

 

Road space rationing is in practice right now in many cities worldwide. They use the license plate method in São Paulo. Of course there, the congestion found on the NJ Turnpike would be a light day. London has an inner-city toll if I recall. Many others in the linked wiki article.

 

Nah, there would just be a hot market for extra license plates....

 

Something like that..it's called market regulation, which protects everyone from being exploited.

 

Or just tell the gov't to go pound sand....Americans are the only culture that I know of, that will purposely disobey any rules placed before them...Just because "They're Rules"....

I completely agree. I disobey laws every day i don't agree with or think are stupid. Tired of the government b.s.!!!!. As for the wreck i believe the wm driver will be exonerated. Except for the media witch hunt that will ensue. Media will insist on someone's head be served up on a platter and you can bet the local authorities will oblige them one way or another because it's perceived as a wrong done to an important person?. If the wreck involved a normal every day working man, would been little said about it.
