Marvin Keller used to be a good company, but its on a downward slide nowadays. The top management is the problem. The penny pinch their drivers to death. Low miles, little pay and broke down trucks.
Human resource is a joke. They will and do scream at you if you call in for any minor question or problem. Watch out for a phonecall if your 5 minutes late on a load and you WILL spend alot of time in truck stops, I know. Anyway, while they pick on the drivers to scratch all the pennies they can get from them, their customers are robbing them blind. The management doesn't see this. The problem is they lack to negotiating skills to deal with their customers. They keep pumping money into the company to keep it afloat, while their contracts are dwindling away. Top Management doesn't understand, if your company is not GROWING then its dying. my two cents.
oh and never and I mean NEVER call in to report a problem no matter how small or you'll get screamed at by a bull D%#$

mapurcell,
How did it work out with Marvin Keller? I am half way thru my CDL school in Chicago and have been talking to MK's HR department about interviewing in the near future. I like what I hear from them and was wondering what you thought?
I was also interested what kind of trucks they have, I know they are older, that doesn't other me, just wondering what brands and years so I can get a visual on what I may be driving. -
New trucks, awsome ! What brands Frieghtliners, Pete's or what?
