It's about 6 hours notheast of Edmonton... a long, boring drive over rough roads through ugly landscape with 4-wheelers and other trucks drivimg like idiots... IMHO.

During winter it helps to pass the time by counting all the cars laying upside-down in the ditch.

Man after that #### back in NYC a little bit of open country will do me good.

I'm on the 200 OTR fleet. They ship out of Topeka,KS from the Goodyear Primary distribution facility. They have alot of 9' 6" tires running between Topeka,KS and the Long Beach Port. I ran some of those during training. A different company with tan and red Pete's runs the majority of those ones though.

I've only hauled a train engine once which was also during training and it went From Los Angeles over to Grove City,PA just over the OH/PA border. All i can say about those things is you better turn slooooooooooow and pad the fock out of that tarp.

What's your truck #? Next time they offer me an OD load i'll tell them to give it to you lol.

I'm out of my northwest loop for a few weeks. I got a genie headed for Toronto On. Hopefully I can dump this off Friday and have a preload sitting in Gary for me. Or Brett mentioned possibly going to buffalo NY. To reload on Monday. It's going to take everything I got to make it by Friday. Ill keep an eye out for you ramblinman, I'm in billings now but will be going across 94. Your pulling an rgn right?

Yep,Your going to be shooting well under me though. I got off 94 earlier today and took 52 up. I'm right off the Border and will be heading north tomorrow. I still got the RGN though. I'm assuming they're going to deadhead me down to Spokane and get me back on general freight.

Ah ok, yeah more than likely. I doubt they would throw a load of scrap on an rgn. Can't carry enough weight to make it profitable

yep,With the RGN i weigh a little over 42k empty.

Possibly. I'll tell you right now you will make more money hauling general freight than doing OD freight. Over width is the worst. Also you are risking thousands of dollars in fines if you get caught making one wrong turn off your permitted route. It can be fun, but if your thinking your going to make more money doing this then don't bother. The money only comes if you join a specialized fleet like the Blade or Pole Fleet.

ya I didn't think I would make more, just want to give it a try once or twice, being on the Denver fleet I get percentage, sometimes its good sometimes not, I ran a load of steel to plymoth,wa that didn't pay good at all and dead headed to mosses lake, with no dead head pay, grabed a geni to carlesbad,nm and that load paid ok,,, still missed out on some cash if I just stayed on my normal line, but I like to do new things and get my exp with different loads. but that will be the last favor I do for ben lol.

Oh your on the Denver Fleet. Yeah, your probably never going to get an OD load. OD loads start at 4 bucks a mile. The last thing they want to do is share 25% of that with the driver.
