No PRIVATE messages unless you make 7 POSTS

Seven posts is nothing.You already many 1.Start replying to threads and you'll have the other 6 posts in less then 10 minutes.Oh and welcome to the forum.

 

You'll hit your quota crazy fast; lots of interesting threads going on right now...

 

I recieved a pm, wrote a very detailed and i felt helpful reply, and tried to send it. Then i got the message about 7 posts being required to send a pm.... I spent quite alot of time writing that very long and detailed response!

So, now i need to post in random threads that i may not have much to say in just to build my post count so I can re write and resend my message.

 

We get many spammers and one of their strategies is to join and hit the PM system. Making a 7 post requirement puts a damper on their day and they have to post in the open forum and then we nab them. This is all in the interest of the members. That's unless you want to get rich quick or buy a purse from Algeria.

For regular members 7 posts is nothing. You've already made 12. See how easy that was?

Now what's so secret?

 

The only problem is that i seem to be stuck at 6 according to my profile... i have made 8 by my count? Maybe it will catch up on its own tomorrow?

 

Does'nt take long at all to make 7 posts.

 

I have posted more than 7 times, but my counter is stuck at 6 for some reason... somebody requested info over pm and i cannot reply. Which moderator should I pm to get it fixed?
